A Knight of the Chalice is a member of an elite knightly
organization devoted to fighting demons. Motivated by a pious hatred of
these creatures that embody the principles of chaos and evil, Knights
of the Chalice learn tactics and gain special abilities to help them in
their crusade.
- Hit Die: d10
- Proficiencies: The Knight of the Chalice is proficient will all simple and martial weapons, armor and shields.
- Skill Points: 2 + Int Modifier.
REQUIREMENTS:
Alignment: Lawful Good
Base Attack Bonus: +8
Skills: Lore 10 or more ranks
Divine Spellcasting: Level 1 or higher.
Class: Paladin or Cleric.
ABILITIES:
Level
1: Demonslaying +1/1d6 (Physical) - Gain combat bonuses against demons.
Censure Demons - Use turning attempts to stun demons.
2: Courage of Heaven - Immune to fear. Allies within 10ft gain +4 to save vs. fear.
3: Demonslaying +2/2d6 (Physical) - Gain combat bonuses against demons.
5: Heavenly Devotion - Immune to enchantment effects. Allies within 10ft gain +4 save vs. enchantment
6: Demonslaying +3/2d6 (Physical) + 1d6 (Divine) - Gain combat bonuses against demons.
8: Consecrated Aura - Demons and undead within 20ft receive a -1 penalty to attack and AC
9: Demonslaying +4/2d6(Physical) + 2d6 (Divine) - Gain combat bonuses against demons.
10: Holy Aura - May use Holy Aura (versus demons only) at will.
BONUS SPELLS
Upon gaining a level in Knight of the Chalice, the character gains
new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in his highest
caster class (paladin or cleric). He does not learn any new spells
through his abilities. |
